this is what my window looked like when i woke up:
it's been snowing like this since 6am. i went out at around 1pm or so.
how's this for severe weather?
see, it's not just me who wants to go out when it's like this! i even have a paper due tomorrow and tons more to get done.
i was only going to make a brief loop around my block but decided to make the circle my destination.
took me much longer than i thought it would cuz the wind was so powerful.
a few times i felt like i was going to get blown off my feet.
and then i headed back...
i think the snow's even heavier now that i'm back inside. we've already reached 54.9 inches of total snowfall. winter 2009-2010 is now officially dc's snowiest winter on record, exceeding the 54.4 inches of 1898-1899!
