empire state of mind

hello from new york. where i walked around, got a haircut, bought a soccer ball, studied (in an unproductive manner) and ate a lot of carbs. behold, the adorable (and delicious) cup of (decaf) coffee i got from cafe grumpy:

grumpiness is the direct opposite of what i am right now. but how can you not like that face? tomorrow i'll be busting out the orange yet again:

this time it'll be too hot for arm warmers. i'm still getting goosebumps from the thought of running through times square. psyched!

    woot! congrats on another uber impressive marathon finish (cool that you can track results online).

    someone should open a coffee joint across the street called "Cafe Happy", complete with smilies printed on the cups.
