the picture really doesn't do justice to how enormous and mind numbingly heavy it was. too many books! maybe this means i should get a kindle. but it'll never be as satisfying as flipping through real pages.the new place is closer to campus and has access to grocery stores, which is all i really want. i no longer have much desire to be in the middle of the city. soon i'll be right by the glover-archbold woods. very residential neighborhood with lots of trees. should be gorgeous when autumn rolls in, as the leaves actually change color here.
glover park is also hilly! not nearly as hilly as berkeley, but the humps are still a decent size. or they're at least big enough to make my already tired legs feel it. it'll all be downhill going to class, but climbing on the way back.
